Drove through Jonesboro for the first time and had a wonderful, quaint visit at the Rec Room. The recovery plate was such a great value and I had an excellent Hot Toddy. First time I ever seen one offered on a menu (Feb visit) and I been to most states! I always praise Arkansas for hospitality and this experience followed suite!

Such an awesome place! We were in town for one night on our way to Missouri. We stayed in a loft across the street so we ran over to the Rec Room for breakfast and we loved it. Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Loved the oatmeal, pancakes, and sausage. Fantastic service and a really cool atmosphere.

Here in town for graduation and stopped in for breakfast. The location is great. Lots of street parking. Inside is really comfortable. *Disclaimer* I live in Dallas….these prices points were great! $20 for a bottle of mimosas. Husband ordered the smoked salmon scrambler and said it was great! I got the recovery plate. Eggs were perfectly scrambled. Bacon was crispy but not too much so and was a nice thick cut. I was really impressed by the hash brown casserole. Awesome flavors in there. I also got a side of oatmeal, thinking it was going to be a little cup, and it was a nice bowl. Brought over half of it back to eat later. Coffees: we orders the lavender love and cafe Leo. We leave tomorrow but I’ll go back for that cafe Leo. 100%. All this was great, but what sealed the deal was Michelle. Barista? Check. Bartender? Check. Server? Check. Food runner? Check. Cashier? Check. Friendly as hell? Double check! You can tell there are lots of regulars that come in, she knows their names and what they usually order. And finally, much to our surprise, they have Diplomático Rum. So, obs they know what’s the deal. You need a breakfast/brunch/lunch place in Jonesboro, this is the one!

My friends and I found this gem while passing through Jonesboro after surviving Spring River. The Recovery Room sounded just like what we needed and, boy, was it! They were so nice to accommodate our group of 5. (I would do a reservation for larger groups.) Chris was our server and she was on it. She was kind and patient and gave great recommendations. We had a stellar breakfast and wonderful cocktails! The atmosphere was great with very cool local art displayed on the walls. A group of kids even stopped by, hot from riding bikes, and they fixed them some ice waters to take with them. I don't know many establishments that would be so kind to do something like that. If I'm back in Jonesboro, I'm definitely making this a stop. I recommend the Recovery Plate, the biscuits, Brunch Bowl, Bloody Mary, Mimosa, and Caribbean Coffee. It's safe to say it's all delicious.
